Measure Your Feet
To transform your shoes, I need an outline of your feet, a few basic measurements, and photos of your feet.
You can follow the instructions below or download the PDF.
What You'll Need
Paper
Ruler
Measuring tape
A thin pen or pencil
A set square (right angle ruler)
Before You Start
Measure while standing, with your weight evenly on both feet.
It's best to measure in the morning, before your feet swell.
If your feet tend to swell, measure them in the morning and again in the evening, then send me both results.
TIP: If someone can help you trace your feet, the outline in front of the toes and behind the heel will be much more accurate.
The Most Important Part of Measuring
Keep the pencil against your foot while tracing it, so it follows the shape of your foot.
Trace Your Feet and Record the Measurements
Trace both feet. Using a set square, mark a line in front of your longest toe and behind your heel. Use the same method to mark the widest part of your foot.
Write all measurements directly on the outline as shown below.

Measure the distance between the line in front of your longest toe and the line behind your heel.

Foot width
Measure the widest part of your foot.

Instep girth
Measure around the instep at the widest part of your foot using a measuring tape.

Ball girth
At the same place, pass the measuring tape under your foot and measure around the ball of your foot.

Heel girth
Wrap the measuring tape around your heel and over the front of your ankle, then measure the circumference.
Photos of Your Feet
